Here are the poll results currently (due to the faulty "View Results" link on the poll)

Alderman Manuel Flores (D)-1st: 7%

Cook County Commissioner Mike Quigley (D): 7%

State Representative: John D'Amico: 7%

Alderman Patrick O' Connor (D)-40th: 7%

Tom Hanson (R): 7%

Judging from this poll, State Representative John Fritchey is clearly the frontrunner in the race. However due to the large number of candidates, it will be very difficult for many to receive endorsements from notable elected officials. Many of them like Mayor Daley, are quietly watching this race from the sidelines. If my poll is accurate, this race will not result in an open primary but, if this poll is inaccurate, then anything is bound to happen.
